2 April 2010 – Penne with zucchini, sweet onions, and pancetta

Catchup – written the 13th.

The first dinner I cooked after returning from Washington was this pasta I found in the Washington Post.

It has zucchini, pancetta, and sweet onion (this one from Mexico). We liked it a lot. Obviously I went for the easy cold veggies here – carrots, cauliflower, and some good olives. The wine was from Chateau Saint Martin de la Garrigue, which we have liked before, a “Bronzini”, and I could pretend I knew something about that name but I don’t…
