Still at Mom’s, but this one I resurrected. Third iteration of the lasagne we decided to try adding more sauce. Mom had cut the lasagne into pieces before I got to it (she prepares everything at least an hour before she needs to) so I had to layer in the sauce at two places on each of six little pieces of lasagne. Which was actually easier than it sounds 🙂 I added some herbs (oregano, tarragon, basil, thyme) to a cup of tomato sauce and let it boil a bit, then added it to the lasagne to moisten it a bit. We liked it better in this version.
Fresh veggie alert!! I bought the zucchini and sauteed them in oil with salt and pepper. They resulted in some curiosity, but no one dumped them on the floor, anyway 😉
