8 June 2010 – Bits of roast chicken with veggies, over rice

Home again! D had roasted a chicken with veggies around it while I was gone, and served chicken bits and some of the veggies over rice. Turnips, carrots, green onions, potatoes, a rutabaga – perhaps a parsnip? “Piles of herbs” he says. Rosemary… twigs of thyme, tarragon…

This was a really good wine for the dinner.
