30 September 2010 – Spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce

D was not impressed with the recent crop of tomatoes from the Farmers’ Market and the Bowl, so he cooked them into a tomato sauce. I was impressed with the tomato sauce! He grated Romano over the top, which enhanced the taste perfectly.

We had two leftover wines with this, both of which survived very well. One was the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo called Capestrano, and the other was the new Grocery Outlet Malbec called “Naiara”.
