9 December 2010 – Dinner at an annual party

Our friends C and J have an annual party for business associates and friends, and the food is terrific – especially the Asian things. I had two little plates:

Let’s see.. a grilled chicken skewer, some cucumber sauce, and a little doughy thing wrapped around a filling. Don’t recall what the things at the bottom are.

OK, dolmas, spanokopita, another steamed wrapped thingy (they were especially good), a pizza (oddly, not my favorite), and a crisp-wrapped item that was doubtless deep-fried.

These are the wines I tried there. The Rubissow-Sargent was especially good. Did not care for the La Vielle Ferme one that much. Don’t recall much about the middle one.
