15 December 2010 – Spaghetti with leftover grilled chicken, mushrooms, and pencil asparagus

I was late getting home after a long grading session, and D had this pasta all made and waiting for me. It was very tasty, and used up some of the leftover bits of things we had in the fridge. D is so good at that!

The new ingredients are pencil asparagus and mushrooms; the used ones are bits of the grilled chicken from last Friday that didn’t end up as the expected sandwiches. I actually ended up putting some of the stuff in the picture into a container to bring to work, since it turned out to be a lot. D opened a Monte Antico to go with dinner. The pretty little cookie package was a gift from one of my outstanding TAs. Gingery cookies of most excellent texture and flavor.
