19 December 2010 – Emptying the fridge

D is so good at making a delicious dinner out of whatever he finds.

He boiled up the two Yukon golds and melted the rest of the Ementhaler over them. He cooked up the rest of the [whatever] choi by the usual method of sauteeing it in oil or butter, and warmed up the rest of the roasted tomatoes with thyme and garlic. We had a bottle of our much-loved Chateau Saint-Sauveur Cotes-du-Ventoux, which was, of course, wonderful.
