Brie, bread, and olives before the City Council meeting – 25 January 2011

At the end of a brutally long day of teaching, with a lab that ran over by more than half an hour at the end, we had to go to City Council to testify against their plans to put 75-foot buildings in our neighborhood. D had a Brie ready for a quick dinner, and we had Acme Pain au Levain with that, and some picholine and Nicoise olives.

We had the leftover Telero negroamaro from last night – only a glass each, so we would be lucid enough to speak at Council. No idea if all this effort does any good…
