Grilled ham and cheese sandwich and salad before the symphony – 10 March 2011

As is typical for us, we had a quick meal before the Berkeley Symphony concert. Our friend T joined us for both dinner and music.

D made sandwiches with some raclette he had bought from the Bowl and some Saag’s (I think) Black Forest (I think) ham, and grilled them in the panini press. One of us (this is being written on the 18th of March, can you believe…) made an avocado and olive salad. I think perhaps D got the lettuce, avocado and dressing ready and I cut chunks off the pichoines olives, which had pits.

We shared a bottle of Chateau Bonnet, which is a nice, refreshing white at a good price.
