Spaghetti with tomato-mushroom sauce – 18 March 2011

We figured I could eat spaghetti fine if I chopped it into little bits and sent it to my chewing teeth, and that turned out to be correct.

Lucky me, the gum surgery, remarkably enough, has not really hurt much, so I am not taking the pain meds that would preclude drinking wine. I look like a chipmunk, and will soon look like a bruised chipmunk, so if I venture into the outside world I will have some ‘splainin to do. I see I also have some splainin to do about my inability to focus a camera. Perhaps I had it set on “mountain” and didn’t notice. The little screen is so small on my camera that I can’t discern photo quality unless I specifically call up the photo and enlarge it.

So anyway: D chose our much-loved Chateau Zaccagnini Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, which we both enjoyed.
