Potatoes, omelette, and bacon – 7 June 2011

P flew home this morning, so it’s just the two of us again. D made a simple meal using up the rest of the potatoes that he had boiled and then refried with onions for lunch a couple days ago.

He made an omelette, and also cooked up a few slices of bacon that were left over from the pack we had bought for the bacon pancakes. Good dinner.

We had one of my favorite extremely well-priced wines with this, the Valreas Cotes du Rhone Villages from Trader Joe’s. It costs about $6, and is delicious and fits with out food really well.
