Ploughman’s lunch for dinner – 9 February 2012

D walked in the door and proclaimed it was time for dinner. (Actually, then he allowed as how it might be a minute or two more…) He had bought an Acme sourdough baguette at the Bowl, and a jar of Branson’s Pickle, and a new apple,I think a Fiji.

I had reminded him recently of the idea of having such a meal to use some of the English Stilton D’s dad P gave us for Christmas, and wow, was that great cheese. D took some hard, but nicely moist, sausage from the fridge, and we each had a chunk of that, too.

At the Bowl, D also bought a Belgian Ale called Le Merle for just under $8, and it was really tasty. A very good, easy meal!
