On Saturday we bought a couple of really good cheeses at The Cheese Board to have for a quick dinner tonight, before heading to the City Council meeting that started at 7.
One was a long-time favorite, Le Gariotin, and a Vermont cheese we had the other night called Bonne Bouche (the grey one). The Le Gariotin in particular was very good with the wine, our next to last bottle of Jaffelin Pouilly-Fuisse from Grocery Outlet. Had just a glass b/c of the meeting after dinner, so no bottle picture – which is unfortunate, b/c it really looked pretty, taken out of the freezer, with water droplets condensing all over it.
D today also bought an Acme Long or a Rustic Baguette at the Bowl (didn’t fill in when drafted on the 8th, and finishing this the 28th I have no clue which…).
D also cut up a carrot and a pear to add to the meal.
