Spaghetti with mushrooms, pine nuts, and parsley – 29 June 2012

D’s signature dish tonight. Haven’t had this in awhile and it was great.

Sauteed mushrooms (brown this time) and toasted pine nuts in olive oil, parsley added late, tossed over cooked spaghetti. More parsley fresh if it amuses you.

Shave pecorino Romano over the top. (Much harder to see the pasta at this point, though…)

Actually, D serves the pecorino in its own dish and we strew it on as desired. I desire a lot of it šŸ™‚

D brought up our usual wonderful Friday wine, Cantina Zaccagnini Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, which we get – or used to get anyway, at Costco. One bottle was the eensiest bit corked, so he brought up another and will use the corked one for cooking. We love this wine šŸ™‚
