Spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce with mushrooms – 22 February 2013

I was going to get home late, and thought about making panini, since now I finally have pesto cubes in the freezer again. But D pointed out (over the phone) that the tomato sauce with mushrooms that he had made the other day wanted eating, so we decided on that. There was no bread, so I stopped at the Bowl and picked up an Acme Sweet Rustic Baguette (along with a lot of other things) on my way home from work. Bizarre to drive home from the Bowl – 1 1/2 blocks. We had our Friday wine, which was of course really good with this: Cantina Zaccagnini Montepulciano d’Abruzzo (2008), which we (used to, when they had it) get at Costco.
