Potatoes with Calabrian sausage; broccoli – 3 March 2013

In conversation, D and I came up with two dinners for our last Calabrian sausage from Christopher Lee, so D used half the sausage for each dinner.

main130303He boiled Yukon Gold potatoes and cooked the sausage, separated into bits, then recooked them together for a bit. I’m writing this the 8th, but I think I remember onions, too. Broccoli: just cut up and boiled, I think. Buttered a bit. D may have peeled the stalks – I remember him having done that…


I see this was a day for Acme Italian Batard. The Viriato I don’t remember that well –
I think it was good enough, but nothing to write home about.  From Trader Joe’s?
