Dinner from Anchalee – 7 March 2013

We had a pain-in-the-neck financial form to fill out (will get us money, so not all bad) so D decided we should get takeout. He ordered from Anchalee and I went to pick up the order shortly after I got home.

main130307He ordered Popiah, the crispy rolls that come with a sweet, thick dipping sauce with peanuts, accompanied by a salad with a vat of pink dressing; Massaman curry; a corn salad that appears on the charge slip as Yumkaopod [update: it actually is Yum Kao Pod], and their excellent jasmine brown rice. wine130307We enjoyed this a lot, though both of us wished we had less chicken and more curry sauce in the Massaman curry.

Here’s their dinner menu. They still haven’t fixed the link from their main site, in over a year. {sigh}

D had chilled a bottle of Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling (2010; from Costco), and we thought it went very well with the meal.
