Spaghetti with tomato sauce with mushrooms and hamburger – 11 March 2013

D got home without an idea of what to cook, and was happy to find in the fridge the last of his tomato sauce, to which he’d added a half pound of hamburger last time. He heated this up, and added some sliced fresh mushrooms to the sauce as it cooked, and served over spaghetti, with Grana Padano grated over the top.



We had a bit more of the Acme Italian Batard D bought yesterday. He brought up a Primitivo that he got awhile ago from Trader Joe’s for $3.99 (!). It was drinkable at first, but after some aeration by shaking, it was quite tasty. This one needs airing, and we have another bottle to try it out on. Grifone Primitivo, 2010.
