Spaghetti with cranberry beans, mushrooms, and parsley; romano beans – 1 July 2013

D agreed to cook tonight since I didn’t know when I’d get home from work. He made a very tasty pasta, cooking mushrooms in olive oil, then adding the remaining cranberry beans and some of their garlic cloves from Friday, along with some parsley from the garden.

main130701As is his wont, he also delivered me cold veggie appetizers in two installments, first a radish, then two romano beans.








He actually cooked up the rest of the romano beans, boiling them in salted water, and then buttering and peppering them. They were delicious!



He bought a new loaf of Acme Italian today, and  chilled down the Pinot Grigio we got on our last Costco visit – which was quite decent, and only $6.89, so we should get more.

A woman at work had a last cupcake needing a home, so I generously volunteered to take it 😉 D and I split it for dessert, and it was very yummy.
