Spaghetti with cranberry beans and coppa; Romano beans – 3 September 2013

D cooked more of the cranberry beans into this delicious pasta.

main130903I’m writing this the 7th so don’t remember everything in it. Maybe he does. Anyway – some of the beans no doubt mashed, others left whole, cooked in olive oil, with slices of the coppa ends R bought us as Grocery Outlet on his recent visit, and some parsley. What are the black things; they look like black rice, but I doubt it.

wine130903D also cooked up some Romano beans, and we had some tomatoes from Dirty Girl Produce at the Tuesday market, which had gotten bunged up a bit en route home, so needed eating. Not a problem!

D opened a bottle of Chateau Liversan 2010 Haut-Medoc. I got this at Costco, we having loved the previous vintage, but don’t like this one as well, unfortunately.
