main140502setting140502D cooking, still. Yesterday, R bought a pillow of baby lettuces and offered D some of it, so we will be having major salads for awhile! Tonight’s had asparagus, hard boiled egg, pan-toasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds (extras not used up for Easter dinner), sugar snap peas, fava beans, and some arugula and mustard greens from the garden.

These included plain mushrooms, pioppini mushrooms, zucchini and yellow squash, spring onions, green pepper left over from something last week, some of wine140502the black beans D cooked up recently, and a tiny bit of Columbus salsicce secche. It was a delicious combination!

D bought a loaf of Acme Italian, which was it usual excellent self, and we had our Friday Wine, Cantina Zaccagnini Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2010, which we get at Costco. Love it šŸ™‚
