Cheese, bread, and cold veggies before the symphony – 2 October 2014

main141002setting141002We had tickets to the Berkeley Symphony, and of course had only a short time for dinner after work. D decided we should use up all the little bits of leftover cheese in the fridge. One was a sweet gorgonzola, but (writing this on the 22nd!) I don’t remember for sure what the other two are.  D also cut up an avocado and a cucumber, and also served a few green beans and cauliflower, raw.


He also got out a tiny bit of salsicce secche, likely Columbus, which we really like. Clearly had more of the bread from last night.

He served half a bottle of wine with dinner – a Domaine Saint-Laurent 2013 Cotes de Gascogne – and then we had another glass after the concert.
