Senor Sisig at Off the Grid, Oakland Museum – 19 December 2014

main141219D&R had an event at the Oakland Museum during the museum’s weekly Friday night music, food truck, and half price admission evening. I took BART to the museum, since there is basically no way to park there anyway, and it was a great way to go, with the station about a block from the museum. I had looked at the array of food trucks that were coming, and was having a hard time deciding what to have, lagniappe141219-2but R announced that he’d heard on NPR a review of Senor Sisig, a Filipino fusion food truck, that was a blown-away rave, and we had to try that, on this singular and unrepeatable evening when lines were, for once, short, undoubtedly due to the rain.
