Pizza with chard and goat cheese – 18 January 2016

main160118ingredients160118-chardfromHappyBoyGot two lovely bunches of chard from Happy Boy at the Saturday market and I decided to make this pizza with one of them, since we also still had one unopened Laura Chenel goat cheese log from our previous trip to Costco. This is such a simple pizza. Here’s how it’s done.





D wanted to try this wine from The Wine Mine where we went for a tasting on Saturday, and I was convinced we’d had it before. True, and we were not especially impressed that time. However, we really enjoyed this bottle, so I’m glad we gave it an inadvertent second chance. It’s Terras do Po 2012, from Casa Ermelinda Freitas, and cost only $7. A real deal.
