Cheese sandwich and cranberry-coated bananas at 35000 feet – 1 December 2016

main161201Decided, since I’d been sick, not to indulge in expensive takeout or wine for dinner in the air on this flight home from Mom and brother B’s. I made a nice sandwich with longhorn cheddar on a pugliese that B bought. Toasted the slices, added a bit of iceberg lettuce that I’m pretty sure somehow survived (b/c the outside dried, and it didn’t rot) in the fridge since October, butter (no mayo – no refrigeration). There was one more banana that I was pretty surt B would not eat, so I cut that up, and doused in a tiny bit of leftover excellent fresh cranberry sauce that kind neighbor L had provided (leaving the rest for B’s dinner – since I’d already had half for lunch). It made a decent, if unexciting, dinner. I had ginger ale to drink. Forgot to take the picture till after I’d eaten the sandwich…
