Personal four-cheese pizza; beet greens – 1 November 2018

This was an evening when D&R had a meeting at their art coop, so I had dinner alone. We had Dirty Girl early girls and all the cheeses for this favorite pizza – provolone, Fontina Valle d’Aosta, sweet gorgonzola, and parmigiano – so I made it up. Also has garlic oil and thin-sliced onions, and fresh marjoram cooked in and also over the top after cooking.I looked closely at the original of the “setting” photo and see a bit of red in a stem, so am inferring the greens are beet, though we also had radish or turnip greens from time to time.

I’m sure I just had some leftover wine from a previous evening b/c no photo of a bottle.

LunchShishitos, green beans, to go along with a bit of leftover fresh pasta, and a bit of leftover fresh tomato sauce (clearly with parm over the top). This was likely leftovers from ravioli, since that’s what we made the tomato sauce for, and we use only 2/3 of the pasta recipe for the ravs. I remember having some issues with the leftover pasta – it being not as good when stored and cooked later – but the more recent one (early Dec) worked great, so who knows what was wrong. This was likely rolled to “5” and the recent ones were “6” so maybe that’s it? Unlikely, really…
